PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus capable of preferentially displaying an image plane desirable for a user.

SOLUTION: In the image display apparatus, a preferential plane selection part 23 selects an image plane from image data including a plurality of image planes, a plotting order determination part 24 determines plotting order so that the image plane selected by the preferential plane selection part 23 is plotted at first and an image display control part 25 displays the image data in the order determined by the plotting order determination part 24.
