摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve mechanism capable of securely preventing the increase of pressure inside a steam sterilizing container by a simple structure, and a steam sterilization apparatus with the valve mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A first abutting part 33A capable of closing a steam introduction channel 31A as a first valve element 42A abuts on the channel is formed on the way of a steam introduction channel 31A, and a second abutting part 34A capable of closing an exhaust channel 32A as a second valve element 43A abuts on the channel is formed on the way of the exhaust channel 32A. The first valve element 42A and the second valve element 43A are connected to each other by a connection member 41A. When the connection member 41A is moved in one direction, the first and second valve elements 42A and 43A are separated from the first abutting part 33A of the steam introduction channel 31A and from the second abutting part 34A of the exhaust channel 32A respectively.
