<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating type inkjet recording medium excellent in ink absorbability, image coloring properties and high speed carrying properties, in a rotary type high speed inkjet printing system equipped with a drying apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording medium provided with a coating layer having ink receiving properties of at least two layers on at least one face of a substrate comprising wooden fibers, the coating layer directly applied on the substrate and with the ink receiving properties is a thermoplastic particle layer comprising thermoplastic finely divided particles and a binder, and the coating layer with the ink receivability is formed below the lowest film-forming temperature of the thermoplastic finely divided particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
