A gravel reusing system is provided to pump gravels stored in an underflow water vessel by using an ejector pump to insert the gravels into a gravel filter together with flushing liquor. A gravel reusing system includes a gravel filter(10), an air compressor(11), a hot flushing liquor pump(12), an underflow water vessel(13), an ejector pump(14), and a gravel return line(15). The air compressor supplies a high-pressure air to the gravel filter. The hot flushing liquor pump is interposed between a backwash tank(120) and the gravel filter to supply a great amount of flushing liquors of a high temperature. The underflow water vessel stores gravels(130) lost when the gravel filter is backwashed. The underflow water vessel includes a separator.
