PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a power storage assembly by discharging appropriately generated gas. SOLUTION: The power storage unit 11 is constructed of a power storage cell 20 and a cell case 21, and the cell case 21 is constructed of a case main body 22 and a case cover 23. A sealing part 30a with a wide fusion width and a gas exhaust part 30b with a narrow fusion width are formed in a cell container 24 of the power storage cell 20. Further, projection portions 31a, 32a opposed to the sealing part 30a and recessed portions 31b, 32b opposed to the gas exhaust part 30b are installed in the cell case 21. Thereby, the sealing part 30a is pressed down by the projection portions 31a, 33a, while a prescribed space is secured by the recessed portions 31b, 32b on the upper part of the gas exhaust part 30b. Therefore, when a gas is generated in the power storage cell 20 due to overcharge or the like, only the gas exhaust part 30a can be peeled off while sealing the sealing part 30a, thereby, the gas can be discharged certainly from a route established beforehand.
