<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hood lock portion structure capable of efficiently absorbing energy when a colliding body collides with the vicinity of a front end of a hood. <P>SOLUTION: An impact absorbing mechanism portion 50, which is provided in a portion 60 to be attached to a radiator support upper 22 of a lock base 44, absorbs the energy by guiding the lock base 44 to the lower side of a vehicle, while resisting an impact load, when the impact load equal to or above a predetermined value from the upper side of the hood is input to the lock base 44 from a lock striker 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
