PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deoxidation method of a Ti-Al-based alloy capable of easily manufacturing a Ti-Al-based alloy having a targeted composition and less oxygen content using a titanium material having high oxygen content and low quality without high vacuum atmosphere.SOLUTION: The oxygen content of the Ti-Al alloy is reduced by dissolving a Ti-Al-based alloy containing Al of 40 mass% or more manufactured by using an alloy material consisting of a titanium material and an aluminum material and containing oxygen of 0.1 mass% or more as total by a dissolution method under atmosphere of 1.33 Pa or more and using a water-cooled copper container and holding them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
