PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which surely prevents an imperfection connection to a plate-like connection member.SOLUTION: A connector 10 comprises: a housing 1, a plurality of contacts 2, and a movable lever 3. The connector 10 can electrically connects an FPC 7f to a print board 9p. In the FPC 7f, both side edges of its terminal part have a pair of rectangle cut parts 7d and 7d. The housing 1 opens an opening 1h to one end part. The contact 2 is disposed in parallel to the opening 1h of housing 1. The movable lever 3 is rotatably connected to the housing 1. The movable lever 3 comprises a pair of hook parts 3h and 3h in both end parts. When the FPC 7f is inserted into the opening 1h, and the movable lever 3 is pressed, a tip part of the hook part 3h is inserted into the cut part 7d. Thus, complete insertion of the FPC 7f can be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
