PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bulkhead-type display device including a bulkhead free from undesirable influences on the display due to an electric field from wiring or steps by the wiring and capable of preventing degradation in display contrast.SOLUTION: The bulkhead-type display device includes: a first substrate having a pixel electrode 51 constituting each pixel circuit P; a second substrate having a common electrode which is shared by the pixel circuits P being formed facing to the pixel electrode 51; and a bulkhead which protrude from the first substrate toward the second substrate to partition a space between the first substrate and the second substrate into plural unit spaces.
