A method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one embodiment of the present invention is a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate that is provided with a negative electrode mixture layer containing graphite and a silicon material. This method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is characterized by comprising: a step for applying a positive electrode mixture slurry, which contains a lithium transition metal composite oxide and polyvinylidene fluoride, onto a positive electrode collector; a step for forming a positive electrode mixture layer by drying the positive electrode mixture slurry; and a step for subjecting the positive electrode mixture layer to a heat treatment. It is preferable that the temperature of the heat treatment is from 160°C to 350°C (inclusive). |
