The purpose of the present invention is to provide a stent delivery device which enables smooth manual procedures when the device is inserted into a body. This stent delivery device (100) includes: a shaft (110) having lumens (113, 114) formed thereinside; a balloon (120) which expands and contracts around the shaft in the axial direction; a cover (130) which advances and retreats between a covering position at which the contracted balloon is covered and a retreated position at which the cover is separated from the balloon, in the axial direction of the shaft; and a drive unit (150) which applies a driving force to the cover to advance and retreat. The balloon and the drive unit are operated by a working fluid which is injected and discharged through the lumen of the shaft, and the expansion and contraction of the balloon are made in conjunction with the advancement and retreat of the cover. |
