An inserting section 21 of an endoscope 2 is provided with: a bending section 213 that can be bent; a tube 27, which is positioned inside of the bending section 213, and into which a treatment tool 26 can be inserted; and a hard member 212 that is connected to the bending section 213, said hard member being on the leading end side of the inserting section 21. The hard member 212 is provided with: a treatment tool path 2122; and a connecting section 28, which has a tubular shape in communication with the treatment tool path 2122, and which communicates the treatment tool path 2122 and the tube 27 with each other by being connected to the tube 27. The connecting section 28 is provided with a protruding section 282 that fits in the tube 27. When viewed from the direction parallel to the center axis of the connecting section 28, the protruding section 282 is provided at a position deviated from a virtual line extending in the direction opposite to the first direction, i.e., the bending direction of the bending section 213, from the center axis. |
