<p>The present disclosure discloses a system for power generation using a plurality of pump-turbine machines, wherein the cumulative capacity of the pump-turbine machines is at least 10 to 30 percent more than the required capacity, so as to approximate pumping time to generation time. Further, the system comprises of two storage tanks at different elevations connected by a penstock arrangement between them for water flow, for pumping and generating electricity.</p> |
