An image processing method and apparatus. The method comprises: respectively determining, according to brightness statistics of the multiple sub-areas in a framed area, an object-scene hierarchies of the sub-areas, the brightness statistics of the multiple sub-areas comprising a correspondence between a brightness value, the number of exposed lines, and a sensitivity value that correspond to each sub-area; determining the number of times of exposures and a current value corresponding to each exposure according to the object-scene hierarchies of the sub-areas; carrying out multiple times of exposures according to the determined number of times of exposures and the determined current value corresponding to each exposure, to obtain multiple pre-processed images matching the object-scene hierarchies; and synthesizing the multiple pre-processed images according to the object-scene hierarchies of the multiple sub-areas to obtain a target image. The embodiments of the present invention improve the definition and resolution of the entire target image, making the entire target image more vivid and more enjoyable. |
