Disclosed are a user interaction method and system based on set top boxes. An input interface is provided for each user to input and send a content to a front end, the front end packs the contents input by all the users of the same television program into a TS stream of the television program and sends the TS stream to every set top box, and the front end does not store the contents input by the users. When a user wants to have a look, the set top box receives the TS stream, parses out the packed contents input by the users, and displays the contents in the form of a bullet screen to the user. Consequently, a user not only can input a content for a current television program, but also can know contents input by other users, and can carry out interactive communication, and this greatly improves the experience of users, and brings great convenience to users. |
