<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment method and its device for a fusion furnace capable of eliminating harmful components such as hydrogen chloride and sulfur oxide in an exhaust gas discharged from the fusion furnace or an exhaust gas after burning a reducible gas in the exhaust gas to low concentration. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas treatment device for the plasma fusion furnace 1 for melting wastes, or the wastes with fuel in the fusion furnace and treating the generated exhaust gas, comprises a cooling air supply device 5 for supplying the cooling air 103 to the exhaust gas 102 discharged from an outlet of the plasma fusion furnace 1, a gas cooling chamber 6 for mixing the cooling air 103 and the exhaust gas 102, an alkaline chemicals supply device 9 for supplying alkaline chemicals 104 to the exhaust gas discharged from an outlet of the gas cooling chamber 6, and a moisture adjusting means mounted at a latter part of the alkaline chemicals supply device 9 for adjusting the moisture by the hot water 107, or the hot water and water vapor 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
