<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control apparatus capable of realizing efficient data transfer by, using few kinds of packets, and to provide electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The data transfer controller 30 includes a transceiver 40 for receiving a request packet from an opposite device connected via a serial bus, and a link controller 100 for analyzing the received request packet. The link controller 100 reads an address size value set to an address size field of a received request packet, when an address size value of zero has been set to the address size field, the link controller 100 omits reading of an address from the address field; and when an address size value which is not zero has been set to the address size field, the link controller 100 reads the address corresponding to the address size value from the address field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
