An ink filter assembly includes an inlet channel (122,124) configured to direct a flow of ink toward an elongated chamber, and an outlet channel (126, 128) configured to direct the flow of ink from an elongated chamber to an ink nozzle assembly. An elongated chamber extends from the inlet channel to the outlet channel, and a membrane provides a permeable separator between an upper section (105) of the elongated chamber and a lower section (110) of the elongated chamber. The membrane is orientated approximately parallel to a longitudinal axis of the elongated chamber and the flow of ink passes through the membrane. |
