A gas leakage detection apparatus is provided to prevent a leakage of a very small amount of gas from being spread to a gas safety accident by outputting an alarm signal by an electric signal. A gas leakage detection apparatus includes an introduction pipe(30), a detection pipe(40), a discharge pipe(50), and a detection liquid(42). The introduction pipe includes an introduction valve connected to an introduction end of a middle valve body to open and close introduction of gas from a main pipe. The detection pipe extends from the introduction pipe and has a U-shaped path. The discharge pipe includes a discharge valve connected to the detection pipe and the discharge end of the middle valve body to open and close discharge of gas to the main pipe. And, the detection liquid is moved in the detection pipe by the pressure difference between the introduction pipe and the discharge pipe. |
