PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective structure for a brush of a cleaner which protective structure allows quick and easy access to the brush for maintenance or similar operation. SOLUTION: The protective structure 1 for the brush of the cleaner 30 has a frame 31 and at least one cupped brush 20 so supported as to stick out of the frame 31. The structure 1 is arranged to be close to the cupped brush 20, and has a flexible curtain 2 preventing dust from scattering to the surroundings and a support system for the flexible curtain 2. The support system has a movable portion which is connected movably to the cleaner 30, shapes the flexible curtain 2, and deforms elastically near the frame 31 in opposite to an elastic element.
