RESIN-MADE CAGE AND BEARING

A resin-made cage that without having any complex structure and without undergoing any special treatment, can be employed in an extremely low temperature environment or in vacuum. There is provided a resin-made cage comprising a circular ring frame with multiple radially through pocket portions and pocket members fitted to the circular ring frame and adapted to retain rollers of rolling bearing, wherein the frame is a molding of first resin composition having a solid lubricant mixed therein, and wherein the pocket members at least at their roller retaining surface for retention of the rollers consist of a second resin composition composed mainly of a fluororesin, and wherein the molding of the first resin composition has a tensile strength of 30 MPa or greater and an upper temperature limit of 200°C or higher, and wherein the second resin composition is a fluororesin composition. This resin-made cage together with an inner ring, an outer ring and rollers interposed therebetween constructs a rolling bearing for use in a turbo pump for liquid fuel of rocket engine.
