A self magnetizing motor is provided to secure a magnetizing level of a magnet unit in commercial power by reducing a starting voltage and improving performance. A self magnetizing motor includes a stator(110) and a rotor(140). The rotor includes a rotor core(143), a rotor unit, and a magnet unit(160). The rotor core is positioned to have a predetermined air gap from the stator. The rotor unit includes a plurality of conductor bars(151) which are inserted into the rotor core to have a larger separation distance from an outer circumference of the rotor core than the air gap. The magnet unit is formed at an outer surface of the rotor unit to be magnetized.
