A semiconductor integrated circuit is provided to supply a stable power supply voltage detection signal by using a voltage detection control signal. A power supply voltage detection part(200) provides a power supply voltage detection signal by detecting the level of an external power supply voltage. The power supply voltage detection part is enabled if the power supply voltage arrives at a fixed level, and enabling thereof is controlled by a signal generated in response to an initial command signal. An initial command signal generation part receives at least one command signal, and enables the initial command signal if the enabled command signal is received. The power supply voltage detection part includes a latch part(230) latching the power supply voltage detection signal.
