An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) capable of preventing reflectance and white balance value from shifting is provided to maintain chromaticity and reflectance by maintaining a ratio even though a relative location between a transparent area and a structure is changed. An LC layer(300) is formed between an array substrate(100) and a counter substrate(200). Plural transparent electrodes(104) are formed on the array substrate. Plural reflective electrodes(103) are formed on the array substrate. A color filter layer(202) is formed on the counter substrate. A counter electrode(205) is formed on the color filter. Transparent areas(203) are respectively formed in a corresponding part of the color filter layer opposite to the corresponding reflective electrode, and do not add colors to light. Structures(206a,206b) are configured to make LC molecules(301) of the LC layer incline. The structures are respectively formed in one of the corresponding reflective electrode and a corresponding part of the counter electrode opposite to the corresponding reflective electrode. A part of each transparent area opposes a part of the corresponding structure. Each structure and each transparent area are configured to maintain a ratio between a size of a part of the transparent area opposing a part of the structure and a size of the rest area of the transparent area.
