ROUTE SEARCHING SYSTEM AND METHOD, TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for an optimum route while reducing the number of data to be handled and an operation load in a route searching system. SOLUTION: The route searching system (100) searches for an optimum route for moving a conveying vehicle (2) conveying a conveyed object from a starting point to a destination point on a route of the conveying vehicle. The route searching system is provided with a storage means (9) storing movement costs, which are defined while using each of a plurality of sets including at least one set comprising a plurality of work devices as a node and using mutual intervals of a plurality of sets as links, a route searching means (6) searching for at least a part of the optimum route by a unit connecting a plurality of sets mutually based on the stored movement costs, and a route specifying means (7) specifying the optimum route by integrating at least a searched part with parts of the route included in one or more sets included in at least searched a part among a plurality of sets.
