PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily decide the necessity of executing the calibration of a printing device even when a plurality of control devices control one printing device.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises: a communication unit for communicating with a plurality of control devices; a printing execution unit for executing print; a data storage unit for storing correction data used for the correction of the printing characteristic of the printing execution unit; and a control unit that, when the communication unit receives the correction data obtained by a control device executing calibration to correct the printing characteristic from the control device, has the data storage unit store the correction data received by the communication unit in association with date and time information indicating the acquisition date and time of the correction data by the control device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
