PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device and an image formation device, in which first and second rotating bodies, in a separated state, are released from the separated state by utilizing rotation of the first or the second rotating body.SOLUTION: A separation device 78 has a separation member 80 which separates a first rotating body 42 that has a first axis part 46 from a second rotating body 48 having a second axis part 52. The separation member 80 has a support part 86 which is provided at the second axis part 52 and by which the first rotating body 42 is supported, an idling part 90 in which the second axis part 52 is inserted and a hooking part 66 of the second axis part 52 idles, and an opening part 84 which has a hooked part 88 on which the hooking part 66 hooks. In order to separate the first and second rotating bodies 42, 46 from each other, the hooking part 66 is inserted in the hooked part 88 of the separation member 80, and the support part 86 supports the first rotating body 42. In a case where the first and second rotating bodies 42, 46 rotate, the separation member 80 rotates and the support part 86 moves in gravity direction, and the hooking part 66 moves to an idling part 90.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
