PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain scattering matter from being accumulated on the periphery of a cover member or an opening, while suppressing the coming-off of the cover member for covering the opening provided in a housing.SOLUTION: A steering device of the present invention includes: an input shaft that is rotated by steering of a steering part; a second housing 12 that houses at least a part of the input shaft; a vent hole that is formed in the second housing 12 and that communicates the inside and outside of the second housing 12 with each other; a cover member 63 that covers the vent hole while securing ventilation via the vent hole; and a protective wall 69 that is provided along an outer periphery of the cover member 63. The protective wall 69 has a first notch 691 on the vertical lower side of the protective wall 69. |
