The request signal indicates a viewer of the video has detected the spotted ad. The control module is configured to, based on the request signal, save information pertaining to the request signal, open a dialogue window or initiate a survey.

1. A user receiving device comprising:
at least one transceiver module that receives metadata and a video from a first backend device, wherein the metadata indicates where in the video a spotted ad is included, wherein the spotted ad is played out as part of the video, wherein the spotted ad is for a product or service shown as part of the video, and wherein the video is a movie, a television show, or a pay-per-view program; an output module that displays the video on a display without displaying an indication that the video includes the spotted ad, wherein the display is connected to the user receiving device, wherein the at least one transceiver module receives a request signal from a mobile device, and wherein the request signal indicates a viewer of the video has detected the spotted ad; and a control module that, based on the request signal, saves information pertaining to the request signal, opens a dialogue window or initiates a survey.
