This toothbrush (10) comprises a head part (3) whereupon a plurality of bristle bundles (A, B) is implanted in a bristle implantation surface (3a), and a handle body (2) which extends from the head part (3). The size of the head part (3) in the width direction which intersects the direction of the extension of the handle body (2) is 13 mm or more. The head part (3) comprises outer side bristle bundles A which are formed from bristles of an arbitrary height, and inner side bristle bundles B, the tallest bristles within any one of the bristle bundles thereof being shorter than the tallest bristles within the outer side bristle bundles A. A plurality of the outer side bristle bundles A is disposed so as to encircle the periphery of a plurality of the inner side bristle bundles B. The outer side bristle bundles A and/or the inner side bristle bundles B each comprise two bristle semi-bundles (a1, a2 and/or b1, b2) with mutually different bristle lengths. |
