PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording liquid which can form an image high in image density while preventing the mist contamination of a recording head.SOLUTION: In the liquid of an inkjet recording liquid, a plurality of pigment particles, each of which is covered with resin, are dispersed. The inkjet recording liquid contains sorbitol at the rate of 0.4 mass% or more and 2.0 mass% or less.
