A distillation apparatus (2) for a steamer and a multi-purpose steamer using the distillation apparatus (2). The distillation apparatus (2) can be placed between a pot (1) and a lid (4) and consists of a condensation wall (23) and a condensing layer (21) having a distillation hole (22) at the top thereof. The condensation layer (21) is provided with a liquid guide slope. The bottom of the condensation layer (21) and the condensation wall (23) together form an accommodation space admitting condensed liquid. The liquid guide slope guides and collects condensed moisture from the lid (4) into the accommodation space. The multi-purpose steamer includes the pot (1) and the lid (4) with the distilling apparatus (2) arranged therebetween, such that moisture generated after condensation can be effectively collected by the combined use of the tapered condensation layer (21) and the distillation hole (22). |
