The control circuit is fixedly disposed in the housing (1), and the infrared sensing device (3) is fixedly disposed on the blade head portion (2). The infrared sensing device (3) includes an infrared receiver (9) and a signal processing circuit connected to the control circuit, and the control circuit is connected to the electrically powered mechanism. The sensor electric hair clipper can significantly reduce idle running time thereof during a haircut process, and also lengthen the battery life to provide power for actual haircut operation. In addition, the sensor electric hair clipper has advantages of reducing noise generated during a haircut, improving haircut experience for customers, etc.
