<p>The invention relates to hydrotechnics and methods for eliminating oil-based pollutants in grounds and groundwater and can be used with a view to soil rehabilitation. The basic principle consists in hydraulically displacing oil products using the water of polluted grounds and involves setting up on the area to be treated an antifiltration screen covering the whole perimeter concerned, which is divided into parcels. Excavations are made within the area up to a depth below the polluted layer, after which water is supplied into the excavations and, as soon as oil products appear at the surface, no more water is supplied and a water layer is formed on each parcel surface. The oil products brought to the surface can then be collected. The inventive method ensures not only an efficient removal of oil products from grounds and groundwater but also a reduced volume of effluent in the form of impure oil products.</p> |
