PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sorting device which automatically detects a partial difference in a subject photographed in an image even if there is no teacher data, and achieves detailed image categorization based on the detected partial difference.SOLUTION: An image sorting device which classifies an image includes: subregion calculating means to calculate a subregion from an inputted image of a sorting object; subregion detection means to acquire existence information of the subregion by scanning a sorting object image; and categorization means to detect a category of the inputted image by grouping the inputted image and the subregion.
