There is provided a voltage generating apparatus which generates a power for operating a product without a charger using prime power by utilizing an induced electromotive force generated by movement between a magnet and a coil and, and a power supply having the same. The voltage generating apparatus using an induced electromotive force including: a magnetic body having a predetermined length; a coil spaced apart from the magnetic body at a predetermined distance and at least partially wound around the magnetic body in a length direction of the magnetic body; and a moving unit putting one of the magnetic body and the coil into motion and generating an induced electromotive force between the magnetic body and the coil.
