<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control method of a motor drive controller capable of preventing an arm, and the like, in linkage with a motor from falling into an uncontrolled condition, even if the temperature in an inverter, and the like, becomes higher than a predetermined level. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive controller has a charger 4 capable of charging a DC voltage, the inverter 3 for inverting the DC voltage from the charger 4 to an AC voltage, a motor 10 driven by the inverter 3, and a controller with a first temperature level set therein. Furthermore, the controller sets a second temperature level to be higher than the first temperature level according to the drive condition of the motor 10, when the temperature becomes higher than the first temperature level, at a predetermined location inside the motor drive controller during decelerating operation of the motor 10.
