<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric braking device capable of withstanding steady energization while making the device smaller and reducing cost of the components. <P>SOLUTION: The electric braking device comprises a three-phase brushless motor 1311 for generating rotation torque, a rotation-linear motion converting mechanism for converting rotation motions of the three-phase brushless motor 1311 to linear motions, a piston moved by the linear motions of the rotation-linear motion converting mechanism, a brake pad for pressing a disk rotor made to rotate together with wheels by the piston, switching circuits 1601-1606 for driving the three-phase brushless motor 1311, a three-phase inverter 1517 having inter-phase short circuit switches 1607, 1608 for performing an inter-phase short circuit, a control circuit for controlling the switching circuits 1601-1606 and the inter-phase short circuit switches 1607, 1608 of the three-phase inverter 1517. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
