PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler dismantling method without problems in safety and environmental aspects and capable of easily and comparatively inexpensively performing dismantling. SOLUTION: The boiler dismantling method for partially cutting and dismantling a boiler 10 held by being suspended from a support structure 12 comprises: a holding process for suspendably holding a furnace wall of the boiler 10 by an elevatable suspension device 30; a vertically cutting process for cutting the furnace wall in the vertical direction as a cut part including the held portion by the suspension device 30 and having a length reaching from an upper end to a lower end of the furnace wall; a cut part lowering process for lowering the cut part while holding it by the suspension device 30; and a removing process for treating the lowered cut part from a cut part lower end to a conveyable state.
