PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling a plastic bottle having a vapor-deposited film formed on its innermost surface, capable of newly forming an inner surface that contacts the contents. SOLUTION: The method for recycling the plastic bottle having the vapor-deposited film formed on its innermost surface includes steps of: removing the vapor-deposited film; and forming a new vapor-deposited film on the innermost surface.
