The present invention provides a coil component and a mounting board thereof. The coil component comprises: a magnetic main body having first and second coil units arranged in one surface of two substrates having a core by being separated from each other, and third and fourth coil units arranged in the other surface of the substrate; and first to fourth outer electrodes arranged in an outer circumference surface of the magnetic main body, and connected to the first to fourth coil units. A gap material which is a space between the first and third coil units, and between the second and fourth coil units, and is arranged in one or more areas among upper and lower parts in a thickness direction of the magnetic main body, and both side surfaces in a width direction.
