This internal-combustion engine control device is provided with a fuel injecting means for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber, an igniting means for initiating spark ignition in the combustion chamber, and an acceleration demand detecting means for detecting a vehicle acceleration demand. Furthermore, the internal-combustion engine control device sets the fuel injection timing and/or the spark ignition timing in such a way that an interval between the fuel injection timing and the spark ignition timing is shorter when an acceleration demand has been detected than when an acceleration demand has not been detected.
