The present invention addresses the problem of providing an internal-combustion engine and a method of supplying fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine, with which the internal-combustion engine can be driven using less hydrogen than in a conventional engine, with which it is not necessary to use a large amount of water to reduce the generation of NOX, and with which there is no risk of the hydrogen concentration in the combustion chamber increasing and giving rise to a large explosion that could damage the engine. This problem is resolved by means of an internal-combustion engine which uses hydrogen as fuel, provided upstream of the combustion chamber of the internal-combustion engine with a mixer which mixes hydrogen and air, and a water supply means which supplies water to the mixer, wherein the air-fuel mixture and water released from the mixer are supplied to the combustion chamber. |
