PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content providing system which makes it possible to buy various contents such as information on music, movie, news, stock prices, weather, etc., business software such as game software and accounting software, or various data anytime by a necessary quantity without making a contract with the content providers in advance. SOLUTION: An information terminal is provided with an order means for ordering desired contents. In a content server, various contents to be provided are stored and a content provision mediating device is provided with a content distributing means which obtains the contents ordered from the information terminal from the corresponding content server and distributes them to an information terminal as the ordering source or a distribution specified destination and a charging means which charges for the distributed contents by information terminals or users having ordered the contents. Further, the system is provided with a means which enables only a user registered for an information terminal to order contents to the content providing mediating device from the information terminal. |
