PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify registration operation for plural IDs handled in different communication systems. SOLUTION: In this electronic key device for a vehicle to make wireless communication by plural systems between an electronic key and an on-vehicle device to receive the plural IDs from the electronic key, and conduct processes corresponding to the respective IDs based on result of collation with IDs preliminarily registered in the on-vehicle device, an operation knob 30 which can be operated to be rotated to a lock(LOCK) position to lock a steering wheel, an accessory(ACC) position to charge power to accessory devices, an ignition- on(ON) position to actuate an engine, and a start(ST) position to start the engine is provided. In a mode to register the IDs in the electronic key into the on-vehicle device, the registered IDs are changed in accordance with the set position of the operation knob 30.
