PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the tracking performance to a propagation environment by cyclically storing a summing result and always utilizing the sum result by a newest summing period time slot so as to start a path detection processing. SOLUTION: A path detection system of this invention is characterized by that the system consists of a correlation unit that receives a base band signal converted into a digital signal by a demodulator and an analog/digital converter of a radio reception section, applies inverse spread processing through multiplication between the base band signal and a pilot symbol of a spread code and outputs a correlation signal, an in-phase adder that sums the correlation signals by each time slot by a prescribed number of times, a 1st summing result storage memory that is used to sum the signals by a prescribed number of times, a 2nd summing result storage memory that stores the result of the sum of the in-phase adder when the summing by each time slot is finished by a prescribed number of times, a power adder that reads and sums the signals by each time slot from the 2nd summing result storage memory, and a path detector that detection of a path on the basis of an output of the power adder. |
