PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the level of a video signal inputted to a display device with high precision without requiring skill. SOLUTION: A digital video signal processing circuit is equipped with a luminance signal extracting circuit 10 which extracts a luminance signal from a video signal after adjustment outputted from a video adjusting circuit 5 to generate monochrome video, three comparison circuits 11, 12, and 13 which compare the video signal after adjustment with comparison values, an OR circuit 14 which inputs and ORs comparison results of the respective comparing circuits 11, 12, and 13, and a display switching circuit 15 and a marker color generating circuit 16 which output to a display device 6 a display signal displaying a marker color on pixels, whose video signal after adjustment exceeds the comparison values, of the monochrome video outputted from the luminance signal extracting circuit 10 according to the output result of the OR circuit 14.
