<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the trimming method of a lithographic printing plate material, which gives the lithographic printing plate material developing little scumming at printing and being excellent in plate wearability. <P>SOLUTION: This trimming method of the lithographic printing plate material is to trim the band-like lithographic printing plate material, which is delivered from the band-like lithographic printing plate material wound in a roll and run. This band-like lithographic printing plate material has an image forming structural layer including a hydrophilic layer and an image forming layer on a plastic support under the condition that at least one layer among the image forming structural layer includes particles with the particle diameter having 1.5-5 times as much as the film thickness of the whole image forming structural layer. The running band-like lithographic printing plate material is trimmed along its running direction by means of a trimming unit having upper cutting edges and lower cutting edges by bringing the upper cutting edges into contact with the wound outer surface of the running band-like lithographic printing plate material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
