摘要 A system and a method for transmitting/receiving data packets according to the load of a RAS(Radio Access Station) in a BWA(Broadband Wireless Access) communication system are provided to increase the resource efficiency of RASs and to improve the speed for data packet transmission to subscriber stations by differently executing scheduling by using different FAs in an IEEE 802.16d communication system. An IEEE 802.16d communication system comprises an ACR(Access Control Router)(110), a serving RAS(120), a target RAS(130), and a subscriber station(140). The ACR(110) manages information on the RASs(120,130), executes routing for the data packets transmitted/received through the RASs(120,130), and manages radio access with the subscriber station(140). The RASs(120,130) manage radio access with the subscriber station(140). In this case, the serving RAS(120) provides the present service to the subscriber station(140), and the target RAS(130) provides an additional service according to a scheduling of the ACR(110).
