A drill module (1) for extraction drilling starting from a gallery (12) below ground, wherein the drill module has two sideward directions (S1, S2), and wherein the drill module includes: a body (4), a drill unit (5) having rotation and drive means for a drill string (27) with a drill bit (6), a first set of spanning means (13) for action downwards towards a ground support for the drill module, a second set of spanning means (31, 31', 32), which are positioned directed sideways. A third set of spanning means (36, 36') is attached to the drill unit (5) and directed at angle to the drilling direction (0) for application against roof portions of said gallery for obtaining direct stabilization of the drill unit (5) relative to these roof portions.
